Obituary of Ronald Evans

Ronald Evans 86, of Worcester, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Meadowood Senior Living. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Schank) Evans to whom he was married for over 66 years.

Born January 24, 1936, in Norristown, he was a son of the late G. Wallace and Ethel (Leftwich) Evans. Mr. Evans attended and graduated from the Williamson College of Trades.

Mr. Evans was a bricklayer for the former Walton and McClure Company until starting his own business, R. Evans Construction. Ron was a life member of the Worcester Fire Department serving over 55 years with the company and 13 of those as a Captain.  Mr. Evans also served as a board member of the Methacton School District.  

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Teresa Ann Delconte and her husband, Deano, of Gilbertsville; his daughter-in-law, Maria (Bruni) Evans; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son, Ronald L. Evans, Jr., and his brother, G. Wallace Evans, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 6 PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike, Skippack, PA 19474, where the family will receive friends from 5-6 PM.
