Obituary of William Franklin Denchak
William Franklin Denchak, a resident of Towamencin Township, PA, for over 36 years, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was 68 years old. He and his wife, Susan (Miedwig) Denchak, celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on December 6th of last year.
Born on July 19, 1953, in Fountain Springs, PA, Bill was a beloved son of the late John and Ethel (Harper) Denchak. He was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School, Penn State University, and Gwynedd Mercy University.
Bill enjoyed spending time at the family lake house in Gouldsboro, PA, and in the outdoors where he could fish, camp, travel, and take long walks with the love of his life. He cherished time spent with his family, especially playing with his grandchildren, never missed a chance to root for the Steelers, and appreciated a good glass of Riesling.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children: Julie Sabo and her husband, Cory, and their children, Reagan and Tucker, of Hatboro, PA; William Denchak and his wife, Lauren, and their children, James and William, of Conshohocken, PA; and Stephanie Vlahos and her husband, Nickolas, and their son, Nash, of Fort Mill, SC. He is also survived by his brother, John Denchak, and his wife, Cheryl; a niece, Jennifer Wetzel, and her husband, Brian; and countless other family and lifelong friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 am on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Rd., Skippack, PA, where family will receive friends from 10-10:45 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Animal Welfare Institute on behalf of his late beloved golden retriever, Cody.
