Obituary of Judith L. McArthur
Judith L. (Askew) McArthur, 78, of Lansdale, was called by the Lord to peace on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Blue Bell Place. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. McArthur to whom she was married for over 52 years.
Born November 13, 1943, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel “Bus” and Mildred “Skip” (Melchoir) Askew.
Judy was an avid reader, loved to travel, and loved all types of nature; especially relaxing on a paddle wheeler cruising the rivers of the United Staes. Judy taught kindergarten at Hatfield Elementary for over 30 years. She also helped lead exercises at Lansdale PEAK.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Laura L. Colbert and her husband, Cornell, of Houston, TX, and G. Douglas McArthur and his wife, Karen, of Douglasville; her faithful sister Nancy Eichelberger, and one grandson. Rest in peace, we love you.
The family will greet friends on April 26 at Normandy Farms, Farmers Daughter restaurant Dowry room, from 12-3 PM.
