Ann Louise Lauber, 87, a resident of Worcester Township, PA for over 30 years, passed away Friday morning, April 8, 2022.
Born October 17, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Graham and Ruth (Anderson) Lauber. She was a 1952 graduate of Overbrook High School and earned her associate degree in accounting from Montgomery County Community College. She was also a graduate of Pierce Business School.
Ms. Lauber served as the personnel director at American College of Bryn Mawr, PA and later worked for many years as a mail clerk for Worcester Post Office. She was also an owner of Haydown Farm in Worcester Township, PA, since 1982, where she raised and trained horses for a long period of time.
Ann loved equine sports of all kinds and attended and competed in many horse shows. She enjoyed working with young people at summer camps and teaching horse driving. She was a member of the Farmers Union Horse Company, the American Driving Society, the American Horse Show Association, and the Pennsylvania Horse Show Association. She was of the Presbyterian faith and enjoyed traveling to national parks with her friends.
Surviving are nephews and niece Tom Murphy, Colleen Stapp, and Wayne Murphy; and numerous grand and great nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her dear friend and business partner, Eleanor Jonathan. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Philip Lauber and Doris Adams.
A public celebration of her life will be announced and take place in the near future at Haydown Farm.
