Obituary of Nicholas James Gambone, Sr.
Nicholas James Gambone, Sr., 67, of Worcester, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, February 18, 2022. Born December 30, 1954, in Norristown, he was a son of the late Joseph R. Gambone Sr. and Veronica (Scavello) Gambone. He was the beloved husband of Kelly Zeager Gambone to whom he was married for over 23 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving family including, son, Nicholas Gambone Jr., daughter, Amanda Gambone, and granddaughter, Evee; his siblings, Phyllis Gambone (Bob Williams), Joseph Gambone, Jr. (JoAnn), Sandra Gambone (Jeff Lewis), Louis Gambone, and Veronica Drumheller (Russ); and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Nick was passionate about his work in the construction and real estate development business. As part owner of The Gambone Group, Nick was responsible for maintenance, construction, and project management for all the commercial properties and apartments for The Gambone Group. He shared his love for sports with family and friends with his favorites being NASCAR, bowling, and football.
Relatives and friends are invited to Nick’s memorial service at 11 AM on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 Valley Forge Rd., Lansdale, PA 19446. Friends may greet the family from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Nick may be made to the Einstein Healthcare Network's walk thru the park.
