Lois Anne (Camburn) Karcher, 78, a resident of Colmar, PA since 1972, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022. She and her husband, John Carl Karcher, celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on August 21st of last year.
Born February 27, 1943, in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Henry L. and Virginia (Benner) Camburn. She was a 1961 graduate of North Penn High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in education from West Chester University.
Anne owned and operated two businesses: Annie’s Bulk Foods & Gifts at the Quakertown Farmer’s Market, and Best Way Paper Products. She loved her family dearly and was proud to have homeschooled her children.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, John Joseph Karcher and his partner, Jeanne Mehl, of Dublin, PA, James Edward Karcher and his wife, Patrice, of Lansdale, PA, and Michael David Karcher and his partner, Melissa Lettis, of Allentown, PA; and two grandchildren, Mel and Jason Karcher. She is also survived by three sisters, Virginia Mae Belli of Oak Harbor, WA, Henrietta Kurtz of Morgantown, PA, Beverly Gresch of Hatfield, PA, and Henry L. Camburn, Jr. of Belle Chase, LA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:30am on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA, where family will receive fiends for her viewing from 9:30-10:15am. Burial will follow at Wentz’s U.C.C.
