Edward M. Gaydos, formerly of Worcester, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Peter Becker Community where he lived for the past seven years. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Lauman) Gaydos.
Born September 29, 1939, in Hazelton, PA, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Drobnock) Gaydos. Mr. Gaydos served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
Mr. Gaydos served the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for over 25 years as a Pennsylvania State Trooper.
He and Marie loved the beach and spent many summers in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey where they owned a home for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his cousin, Dave Drobnock and his wife, Ann, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Quill.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd. Hatfield, PA 19446, where friends may greet the family from 10-10:45 AM. Interment will be at Lower Skippack Mennonite Church Cemetery.
