Obituary of Robert Landis
Robert “Bob” Landis, 89, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, in East Norriton. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Kratz) Landis.
Born April 25, 1932, in Kulpsville, he was a son of the late Claude and Gertrude (Snyder) Landis.
Bob was a member of Central Schwenkfelder Church and was a life member of the Worcester Fire Company where he was a member for over 50 years. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed riding around the neighborhood on his golf cart. He was a devoted husband and took great pride in caring for those around him. Bob rarely missed an opportunity to get together with his breakfast buddies. He was a humble man and was always working hard to keep up with the projects around the house. In the summer, he enjoyed family vacations and splashing around in his sister, Lois’s pool. His joyful presence will surely be missed by all.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Loralea Yoncha and her husband, Ron, of Malvern, Robert Keith Landis and his wife, Kim, of Macungie, Allison Berzins and her husband, Harry, of Worcester, and Leslie Deakyne and her husband, Norm, of Gilbertsville; his siblings, Lois Brunt, Joan Merritt, and Betty Moore; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother, Lawrence Landis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Central Schwenkfelder Church 2111 Valley Forge Rd. Lansdale, PA 19446, where friends may greet the family from 10-10:45 AM. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
