Obituary of Barbara (Booz) Thompson

Barbara W. (Booz) Thompson, 62, a long-time resident of Lansdale, PA, passed away suddenly on November 4, 2021.

 

Born May 3, 1959, in Lansdale, PA, she was the daughter of Charles Booz, Sr. and Margie (White) Booz. She was a graduate of North Penn High School and was manager of the family business, Chantilly Floral of Lansdale, PA and Harleysville, PA. She enjoyed her work and being surrounded by her family, friends and customers.

 

Barbara loved time at the beach and her red Corvette. She was always planning her next adventure. She was creative, strong, resourceful, helpful, trusting, enthusiastic, hardworking, and most of all fun. Her endless smile, laughter and witty sense of humor will be missed by so many.

 

A true Girl Scout, Barbara personally cared for her parents and some close friends. She was also a constant community supporter of Lansdale. She will always be remembered as “The Best Sister” and “Best Aunt Ever.”  

 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Clifford Booz and his wife, Collette, and their daughter, Rebecca, of Lansdale, PA, and Charles Booz and his wife, Marie, and their daughter, Madison, of Skippack, PA. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and her close friends: Peg, Jay, Patti, Ruth, Helen and more.

 

Relatives, friends, and customers are invited to her visitation from 5-6:45pm on Wednesday, November 10, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike @ Cedars Rd., Skippack. PA.
