Dr. Honor Grace Manilla, 67, of Worcester, PA, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021, at her residence. Dr. Manilla was a daughter of Vivian M. (Marino) Manilla and the late Anthony A. Manilla.
Born April 12, 1954, in Norristown, PA, she grew up in Worcester, PA and graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School in 1972. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lafayette College class of 1976. She then continued her education, earning her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Des Moines Osteopathic Medicine’s College of Podiatric Medicine in 1984.
After medical school, Dr. Manilla performed her residency training at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Association Center in Richmond, VA from 1985 through 1986. Dr. Manilla then started her Podiatric practice in Worcester, PA in 1987, and served the surrounding area’s podiatric needs for over thirty years, then retiring in 2017. She was Board Certified in Wound Care and Limb Salvage and served on the Mercy Suburban Hospital’s Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine in East Norriton, PA. She also was a member of the Penn Suburban Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Dr. Anthony Christopher Manilla of Hagerstown, MD, David M. Manilla of Worcester, PA, and Faith Manilla Frisbie of Lansdale, PA; her nieces, Gabriella Manilla, Alexandria Frisbie, and Victoria Frisbie; and her nephew, Anthony Manilla.
She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Manilla.
