Obituary of Janet E. Reube

Janet E. (Kilgaski) Reube, 80, of Hatfield, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Doylestown Hospital. She was the wife of the late William E. Reube who passed away in 2019, and to whom she was married for 60 years.

Born March 12, 1941, in Camden, NJ, she was a daughter of the late John Joseph and Jennie Charlotte (Van Leuvan) Kilgaski. Mrs. Reube grew up in the North Penn area and was a graduate of North Penn High School class of 1958.

Janet worked as a florist, and then at her husband’s business, Reube’s Machine & Tool, as secretary. Janet loved spending time together with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale and a member of the Order of the Amaranth.  Janet scrapbooked with her daughter, granddaughter, and friends, commemorating her life in photos of the family. She enjoyed spending significant time at the cabin that she and her husband Bill built in Sullivan County. An excellent cook, she loved to bake, which was always appreciated by the extended family. Janet was known for her green thumb, and her house always had plenty of plants and flowers growing both inside and out.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Bustard and her husband, Art, Holly Kriebel, and her husband, David, and William R.
