Desiree Ann (Professori) Johnson, 58, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, at her residence. She was the wife of Paul Johnson.
Born March 5, 1963, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of Dominick Professori and the late Anna Rita (DiMino) Professori. She was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School class of 1980.
Desi loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, both biological and non-biological were the utmost joys in her life. She was a very generous and thoughtful person who was delighted in giving gifts and shopping for others. Desi was an avid animal lover, filled with compassion and empathy for them, and always cherished playing and caring for them. Over the past 28 years, she saved and found homes for over 100 animals. She was a very loving person who was very hospitable to those around her and was amazingly intuitive, attentive, and understanding when someone was in need.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Timothy Dippolito and his wife, Julie, of Harleysville, PA, Matthew Johnson of Plymouth Meeting, PA, and Paul Johnson Jr. of Wyndmoor, PA; her brothers, Anthony Professori and Joseph Professori; her grandson Timothy Dippolito, Jr.; many nephews, and many, many loving friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at 11 AM on June 16, 2021, at St. Helena's Catholic Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422, where the family will greet friends from 10-10:45 AM.
