Curtis E. Weigner, 78, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Abington Lansdale Hospital. He was the husband of Bonnie (Ludwig) Weigner.
Born October 24, 1942, in Norristown, he was a son of the late J. Curtis and Jeanette (Yeakel) Weigner. Mr. Weigner graduated from A.D. Eisenhower High School in Norristown, class of 1960; he also attended Ursinus College and The American College.
Curtis worked in his father’s business, Sunny Ayr Farms of Worcester, PA, until he sold to Balford Farms in 1973. He worked in many management positions with Balford until starting his own financial services practice in 1986. He attained many industry awards, including being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, President’s Council of New York Life Insurance Company, National Quality Award, Provident Mutual’s Leader Association, and Society of Certified Senior Advisors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Keith Weigner of Maple Glenn, PA, Kevin Weigner and his wife, Irma, of Huntington Beach, CA, and Dr. Jason Weigner of Media, PA; his siblings, William Weigner and Kathleen Mininger; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family, clients, and friends.
Services will be held privately for the family.
