Pearl L. Fulmer, 91, a resident of Dock Woods Community of Lansdale, PA for the last 15 years, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 22, 2021. She had formerly resided in Souderton, PA and Pottstown, PA.
Born January 25, 1930, in Schwenksville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Edith (Landis) Landes. She was a graduate of Schwenksville High School where she was the salutatorian of her graduating class. She was employed as a dietician at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center for many years, and later worked part time for Kulp Car Rental Service.
Mrs. Fulmer was a member of Encore Experiences in Harleysville, PA, and Generations of Indian Valley in Souderton, PA. She attended chapel at Dock Woods Community where she often played the piano. She also played the piano at many other Living Branches events. She enjoyed playing board games with family and friends and visiting her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters: Linda D. Shalaway and her husband, Scott, of Hendersonville, NC, and Dawn L. Leight, of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren: Matthew Leight, Nora Shalaway Carpenter, Keven Sturgeon and Emma Shalaway; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Nathan R. Fulmer, in 1997; and by her former husband, Russell D. Fulmer, in 1986.
In light of current restrictions on public gatherings, a private graveside service will be held for the immediate family at Old Goshenhoppen Church Cemetery in Woxall, PA.
