Sherry Ann (Whalen) Thompson, 53, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021, at her residence in Schwenksville, PA. She was the partner of Russell Boyer.
Born June 18, 1967, in Canton, OH, she was a daughter of Michael J. Whalen and his wife, Beth, of Cape May, NJ, and the late Bonnie Jean (Heid) Whalen. She was a 1985 graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School.
Sherry worked as a dental hygienist for ten years before she became the owner and operator of “Moments of Time”, her antique store in Kulpsville, PA. She was more recently employed by Wegmans of Collegeville, PA. She was an avid fan of Ohio State Football and the Minnesota Vikings. Her interests included antiques, history, and time spent in Cape May, NJ.
In addition to her partner, father and step-mother, she is survived by her daughter, Alyssa N. Boyer at home; two sons, Kristopher B. Alexander and his wife, Michelle, and their daughter, Hayden, of Spring Mount, PA, and Daniel W. Alexander of Spring Mount, PA; a brother, Mitchell Whalen of Cherry Hill, NJ; a sister, Geremy Whalen of Chicago, IL; and a stepsister, Amanda Narcisi of Tyler, TX. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael James Whalen, II.
Family will receive friends for the visitation from 2-3pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA, where the memorial service will begin at 3pm. Please wear a mask and be prepared to practice social distancing.
