Obituary of David Wayne Mausolf

David Wayne Mausolf, 68, of Upper Gwynedd, PA, formerly of Middlebury, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He and his wife, Gayle Krause Mausolf, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on September 6th of last year.


Born January 11, 1953, in Waterbury, CT, he was a son of Marion Cawthra of Waterbury, CT and the late Ralph Mausolf. He was a 1970 graduate of Southbury High School and earned his B.S. in Business Administration from University of Hartford in 1974.


Mr. Mausolf was an entrepreneur, the C.E.O. of Hawk Products, Inc. and owner of FlexoCleaners.com of Hatfield, PA. He was the former C.E.O. of Phoenix Wireless, Inc. and the former owner of International Junior Tennis Academy. He lived for his many hobbies, which included skiing, tennis, sailing, pickle ball, golf, ping-pong, playing piano and reading novels. He enjoyed Caribbean vacations with his family and going down to the shore house in Ocean City, NJ to spend days on the beach. He was a dedicated, proud “Pops” to his beloved granddaughters, Riley and Taylor. Dave will be remembered by his family, friends and colleagues for his joy, humor, generosity, talents and loving nature.


In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Sarah L. Mausolf and her partner, Bob Bloczynski, and their daughter, Riley M. Bloczynski, age 2, of Blue Bell, PA; and Melissa O. Mausolf and her partner, Brian Hindman, and their daughter, Taylor S. Mausolf, age 4, of Sunnyvale, CA. He is also survived by his sister, Marjorie Sartori and her husband, Glenn, of Westbrook, CT; and by his brother, Gary Mausolf, of Daytona Beach, FL.


Family will hold a private ceremony on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 2 pm at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA. The services will be broadcast virtually by clicking HERE  .
