John Paul Plasterer, 62, of Perkiomenville, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Born June 1, 1958, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Paul Krieder and Marilyn Joan (Belford) Plasterer.
John was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He never said no to helping you, whether helping to finish your back deck, or just grabbing some wings and a couple beers. When he was younger, he and a few of his buddies made the newspaper down the shore for being the first ones in and the last ones out for a few years in a row. One thing he never let go of no matter what hand he was dealt, was his sense of humor. He always was able to make the room laugh. He was loved by so many and helped so many people during his journey.
He is survived by his children, Brittany Plasterer and John Plasterer; and his sister, Linda Oltman.
Services will be held later this year once the restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society www.lls.org.
