Carol E. (Toronye) Tucci, 75, passed away Friday, January 1, 2020, at her residence in Skippack, PA. She was the wife of the late Michael Tucci, who passed away in 2017. They had been married for over 38 years at the time of his passing.
Born March 8, 1945, in Elizabeth, NJ, she was one of five daughters born to the late Steven and Anna (Lutter) Toronye. She grew up in Rahway, NJ, and was a graduate of Rahway High School.
Carol was employed for many years as an administrative assistant for Johnson & Johnson. She was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church and was an avid reader. Her favorite television viewing was the Hallmark channel. She enjoyed playing Mahjong and traveling; and was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Ann Marie Burke and her husband, George, of Perkiomenville, PA, and Donna Skilton and her husband, Jeffrey, of Woolwich Township, NJ; three sisters, Jean Szary and her husband, John, Nancy Amorski, and Patricia Giles and her husband, Ronnie; and three grandchildren, Anya Burke, and Connor and Shannon Skilton. She is also survived by two stepdaughters, Denine Tucci and Michelle Ekiz and her husband, Mehmet, all of Hamilton, NJ; three step grandchildren, Mikail, Leyla and Koray Ekiz; as well as her former husband and father of her children, Zigmont Ulinski.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Twaskas; and two brothers-in-law, Richard Amorski and Robert Twaskas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9-10am on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars, Rd., Skippack, PA. Please bring a mask and be prepared to practice social distancing. In light of restrictions on public gatherings, the funeral service with interment at St. Patrick Cemetery in Norristown, PA, will be private.
