Dina Lynne (Friedman) Palski, 58 of Harleysville passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Richard “Rick” Palski.
Born December 22, 1961, in Yonkers NY, she was the daughter of Anita (Weinberg) LeBow and the late Sandor Friedman. Dina was a graduate of Penn State University class of 1983 and Wilkes University class of 2002.
Dina was a first-grade teacher at Oak Ridge Elementary School, an avid gardener, art club founder, and banjo extraordinaire. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, bandmate, and friend. Dina was warm and energetic, inclusive and selfless, opinionated, and inquisitive. She was never afraid to ask a question or make a statement. Dina turned stagnance into movement, put ideas into words, and made suggestions into reality. She was a force of change and a source of love. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children; Mitchell Palski and his wife, Stephanie, and Danielle Pocetti and her husband, Joe; her brother David Friedman; and her grandchildren, Nicholas and Louis Pocetti.
Relatives and friends are invited to the family’s home on Friday, September 25th from 4 pm to 7 pm. In accordance with the CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines, please keep the visitation brief. However, musical instruments and tie-dye attire are welcomed and encouraged. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Indian Valley Ed Foundation, 760 Lower Rd. Souderton, Pa 18964. An innovative ‘Play to Learn’ grant will be established in Dina’s name for teachers in the Souderton Area School District.
