Kevin Figurelle

Obituary of Kevin Michael Figurelle

Kevin Michael Figurelle, 52, of Skippack Pa, formerly of Brookhaven, Pa, passed away on Sunday, September 6th, 2020. He was born on September 28th, 1967, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Chester, Pa. Kevin was a graduate of Sun Valley High School and Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. Kevin served in the United States Air Force from 1985 – 1989. He worked at Bell Atlantic servicing computers and at UPS as a floor supervisor before moving on to Montgomery CountyCommunity College where he worked as a maintenance technician.

If you knew Kevin then you know he was never an “in the box” kind of guy. He wanted to be remembered as eccentric and an artist. Kevin loved to write and was the author of the short story, Trench Rot. His artistic mind didn’t stop there and if he was not writing, he could be found drawing. His drawings were always a reminder that the world is how you choose to see it and showed everyone he met how important it is to never stop being creative. He also had a tremendous fascination with outer space and viewed our world as never-ending. His love and appreciation for nature was unfaltering and he thoroughly enjoyed any chance he could to bike, camp, or hike. In his passing, the best way to honor him would be to remember to respect our planet and treat nature with kindness.

Kevin was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He is survived by a loving wife of 23 years Donna L.(Rapp) Figurelle of Skippack, Pa, his mother Barbara (Kovacic) Figurelle and father Anthony Figurelle Jr of Brookhaven, Pa, daughter Madalyn Grace Figurelle and son Joseph Michael Figurelle of Skippack, Pa, brother Anthony Figurelle III and his wife Karen of Willmington,De, sister Deborah Ann Krady and her husband Kyle of Mt. Joy, Pa, brother Timothy Vincent Figurelle of Medford, NJ, as well as many nieces and nephews.
