Obituary of James H. Fahy, IV

James H. “Jamie” Fahy, IV, 27, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2020.

 

Born October 2, 1992, in Somers Point, NJ, he was a son of James H. Fahy, III and his wife, Janis Zimmerman-Fahy, of Schwenksville, PA, and Kathleen M. Kiley and her husband, William, of Palm Coast, FL. He was a welder/fabricator with Machine Metals Manufacturing of Collegeville, PA, and was a former consultant with Starboard Enterprises of Coatesville, PA.

 

James was a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed racing motocross. He could either be found building race cars with friends, or spending time with his girlfriend, Maddy. He was a self-taught guitarist and pianist, and a lover of all animals. 

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Madeline Augustine, of Skippack, PA; his brother, Brian Fahy and his wife, Mallory, of Singapore; his paternal grandfather, James H. Fahy, Jr.; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Anne Zelinski.

 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn J. “Kaytie” Fahy, in 2016.

 

In light of current restrictions concerning large gatherings in public places, a private memorial service will be held. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed by logging onto https://www.facebook.com/sanctuaryumcnw/ at 2:30pm on Friday, September 11, 2020. The family will then receive friends from 3:30-5pm on Friday at Sanctuary United Methodist Church, 1346 East Prospect Avenue, North Wales, PA. Please bring a mask and be prepared to practice social distancing. The service will also be available for viewing on YouTube at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Bike and Sol Bicycle Ministry, 104 Main Street, East Greenville, PA, 18041, www.bikeandsol.com/take-action. The funds will be used to establish a scholarship fund in James’s name for their youth mentor program. Arrangements are by the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., of Skippack, PA.
