John Wildermuth, of Eagleville, PA, formerly of New Hanover Township, PA, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was 90 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Kriebel) Wildermuth; and five children, John Wildermuth Jr. and his wife Peggy, Keith Wildermuth, Kathleen Schlenker and her husband Peter, Joel Wildermuth and his wife Teresa, and Karl Wildermuth. He also left behind his nine grandchildren; Anna and Amie Wildermuth, Peter Jr., Sarah Mitchell (Robert), Nathan, and Mary Schlenker; Austin and Andrew Wildermuth and Johann Wildermuth.
In his younger years, John was a home-delivery milkman until the home delivery of milk ended. He then worked on a snack food delivery truck, now Good’s, until his retirement at age 67. John spent his retirement years working part-time for Berks-Mont Camping Center until he was almost 87 years old.
Due to public gathering restrictions, a private graveside service for the immediate family will take place at Lower Skippack Mennonite Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at www.chop.edu, in appreciation for the care they gave his daughter during her teenage years.
