Robert “Babbitt” Weidenmoyer, 70, of Schwenksville, passed away after complications from a long hard-fought battle with heart disease on May 8, 2020, at Rittenhouse Penn in Philadelphia.
Born May 31, 1949, in Sellersville, PA. He was a son of the late Harvey and Mildred (Cylmer) Weidenmoyer. Babbitt served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Marie Corps. He is survived by Robert Weidenmoyer, 36, Heath Weidenmoyer, 33, and Daughter Angel Owoc.
Babbitt's passions include hunting and fishing, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, growing wide varieties of peppers, cooking and baking, scrapping, and collecting. He was a long time volunteer at the Philadelphia Folk Festival as a member of the Groundz Crew. Babbitt was a member of the Lower Frederick Firehouse, Green Lane Firehouse, Gilbertsville Firehouse, and Sassmansville Firehouse.
