Michael R. Stumpo, 62, of Harleysville, PA, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, surrounded by his family. He and his wife Maureen (Copeland) Stumpo celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on October 9th of last year.
Born on September 19, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA, Mike was the loving son of Evelyn (Tucci) Stumpo of Oxford, PA, and the late Ernest F. Stumpo.
Mike was a 1977 graduate of Mercy Tech Vocational High School. He was the Director of Facilities at Peaceful Living of Harleysville, PA. He enjoyed watching and attending Philadelphia Eagles games with his son as season ticket holders. His hobbies also included fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mike is survived by: his son, Anthony M. Stumpo and his wife, Maria, of Bryn Mawr, PA; his daughter Jaclyn M. Stumpo and her fiancé, Michael P. Shaughnessy, of Collegeville, PA; his brother Robert Stumpo and his wife, Teresa, of Galena, OH; and three sisters, Joanne Jones and her husband, Ron, of Philadelphia, PA, MaryAnn Devine and her husband, Kevin, of Harleysville, PA, and Lisa Pilaitis and her husband, Michael, of Oxford, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 9-11am on Friday, July 24, 2020, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Rd., Skippack, PA. Please bring a mask and be prepared to practice social distancing. Due to the recently updated gathering restrictions, a memorial service will be private.
