Joyce Plotts

Obituary of Joyce Ann Plotts

Joyce Ann (Cachara) Plotts, 78, passed away in the late evening hours of January 26, 2020, at her residence in West Norriton, Pennsylvania. Born December 30, 1941, in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Andrew and Eleanor Verna nee (Klimcho) Cachara.

Joyce will forever be remembered by her friends and family by her servant heart, her passion for her children and grandchildren, her red lipstick, a good cup of coffee, scary movies and a good diner.  She was extremely creative and was an original DIYer with her garage sale finds.    Traveling with family and friends was also a passion for Joyce.  Her presence brought laughter and “funny stories” wherever she went.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Plotts of West Norriton, Edwin Plotts and his wife, Patricia, of Blue Bell, Leigh Anne Cox and her husband, Wayne, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; her brother Raymond Cachara and his wife Sue; and four grandchildren, Edwin, Zachary, Samantha, and Emmaleigh.

The family wishes to thank all of those who cared and reached out to her during her final days and her battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on January 31, 2020, at St. John Lutheran Church, 1802 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422 where friends may greet the family from 10-10:45 AM. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.  Everyone is invited to join the family at the Whitpain Tavern, 1529 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422 immediately after the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on her behalf to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
