Obituary of Donna Lyn Fromm
Donna Lyn (Pitcher) Fromm, 60, of Lansdale, PA, passed away January 6, 2020, at Lansdale Hospital, following a valiant battle with breast cancer. She and her husband, Joseph J. Fromm, celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on May 7th of this year.
Born October 26, 1959, in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul W. Pitcher and Irene (Wichello) Maslanska. She was a 1977 graduate of Upper Merion High School and received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kutztown University.
Mrs. Fromm was employed in appliance sales with Lowe’s Home Improvement of Hatfield, PA, for many years. An avid bowler, she enjoyed league bowling at Facenda Whitaker Lanes in East Norriton, PA. She was a member of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary and her hobbies included gardening, birding, calligraphy, painting and drawing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Erich J. Fromm of Lansdale, PA; and a daughter, Sarah A. Sebenick and her husband, Timothy P., of Warminster, PA. She is also survived by five sisters, Patricia P. McGowan and her husband, Robert, of Skippack, PA, Ingrid J. Schrandt and her husband, Kenneth, of Horsham, PA, Brenda Petschelt and her husband, Rick, of East Vincent, PA, Catherine Remold and her husband, Dustin, of Collegeville, PA, and Heather A. Heft and her husband, Lance, of Chester Springs, PA; a brother, Ian Pitcher and his wife, Melissa, of Pottstown, PA; and by a stepmother, Shirley Pitcher of Chester Springs, PA.
Relatives and friends will be received at 10am, and are invited to attend her memorial service at 11am on Friday, January 10, 2020, at Keystone Fellowship Church, 427 Stump Road, North Wales, PA, with an opportunity for fellowship following the service. Interment will be private.
