Melanie Ann (Miller) Buckley, 47, of Lederach, PA, formerly of Radnor, PA, passed away after an illness early Friday morning, November 15, 2019. She and her husband, John J. Buckley, II, celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary on May 19th of this year. They shared a relationship together for well over 17 years.
Born July 11, 1972, in Lansdale, PA, she was a daughter of Leah Arlene (Derstine) Miller of Pennsburg, PA, and the late Robert Charles Miller who passed away in 1982. She attended Upper Bucks Christian School. She was employed as an assistant project manager for Berks Ridge Company Enterprises, Inc. of Harleysville, PA.
Melanie was a faithful member of Cornerstone Church of Skippack, PA. She was proud to have started a women’s Bible Study. She and her husband enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay aboard their boat, “Why-Knot”. She had a knack for decorating and cherished time with her family.
In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Samantha Lynn Williams and her husband, Joshua, of Trappe, PA; a son, Michael Robert Shaak of Trappe, PA; and two stepsons, Michael J. J. Buckley of Clearwater, FL, and Christopher R. Buckley and his wife, Marisa, of Devon, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11am on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA, where friends may call for the viewing from 9-10:45am. Burial will follow at Wentz’s U.C.C.
