Obituary of Randy Heil

Carson Randolph “Randy” Heil, II, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 4, 2019, from a heart condition that he fought for several years. A resident of Trappe, PA since 2011, he formerly resided in San Francisco, CA, and Telford, PA.

 

Born December 24, 1968, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Judy E. (Horne) Heil of Trappe, PA, and the late Carson R. Heil, who passed away in 2017.

 

Randy graduated from Souderton Area High School in 1987 where he took part in the school plays, sang in the chorus and advanced chorus, and played on the tennis team. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hofstra University where he was a charter member of Chi Phi fraternity.

 

Randy began his career in the fashion industry when he was hired by Macy’s Corporation in New York, NY. He moved to San Francisco, CA where he served as men’s fashion director for Macy’s West and was a buyer for Lord & Taylor. His employment in the fashion industry took him throughout Europe where he was mostly active in France and Italy.

 

A talented and creative person in many ways, Randy enjoyed decorating, baking, cooking, shopping, and antiques.

 

Along with his mother, he is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his partner, John Mallett.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life service at 2 pm on Friday, October 18, 2019, at R. L. Williams, Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike and Cedars Rd., Skippack, PA, where friends may call from 1-1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
