Obituary of Melissa Ann Carosi

Melissa Ann (King) Carosi, 45, of Skippack, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center. She was the high school sweetheart and wife of John Carosi to whom she was married for 22 years.

Born October 5, 1973, in Abington she was a daughter of Carol M. (Kichline) King and the late Robert King. She was a graduate of William Tennent High School Class of 1991, was a graduate of the Abington School of Nursing, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Immaculata University. She most recently was employed by Aetna as a nurse consultant team lead.

Melissa was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Harleysville and an active member of her community. She volunteered and supported the following organizations: Girl Scouts, Skippack Recreation Association Pool, West-Mont United Soccer Association, Skippack Elementary Home and School, Perkiomen Valley Middle and High School Musical Programs and Lower Perkiomen Little League Softball and Baseball.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Morgan Carosi, Nicholas Carosi, Erin Carosi, Ashley Carosi; and her sister Michelle Rose. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10 AM on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Advent Lutheran Church, 470 Landis Rd, Harleysville, PA 19438. Friends are also invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, June 26, from 5-7 PM at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 West Skippack Pike, Cedars, PA 19423. In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the American Lung Association in memory of her father Robert King at www.lung.org or to her children’s college funds (donations can be mailed to the Edward Jones Office, 115 W. Main Street, Suite C. Collegeville, PA 19426 - checks can be payable to "Edward Jones" and add "Carosi Children's Fund" in the memo field).
