Obituary of Audrey M. Boehning Yoder

Audrey M. Boehning Yoder, 75, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at MossRehab Main Campus in Elkins Park, PA, following heart surgery three weeks ago. A long-time resident of Blue Bell, PA, she and her husband, Sylvanus U. “Spence” Yoder, would have observed their 27th wedding anniversary on September 19th of this year.

 

Born September 10, 1943, in Waukegan, IL, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Doris (Rawle) Anderson. She was employed as a special education teaching assistant at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit for many years.

 

Mrs. Yoder was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Blue Bell. She was an avid reader and devoted grandmother. She loved her family dearly.

 

Along with her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Robin L. Boehning of North Wales, PA; two sons, Thomas W. Boehning and his wife, Christina A., of Glastonbury, CT, and Darren F. Boehning and his wife, Madeline P., of League City, TX; three stepchildren, Debra J. DiMino and her husband, William, of East Norriton, PA, David C. Yoder of Trooper, PA, and Darlene M. Henry and her husband, Michael, of Fleetwood, PA; and a brother, Robert Anderson and his wife, Vivian, of Fox Lake, IL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Edward Anderson; and by a stepson, Donald L. Yoder.

 

Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, June 14, 2019, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA. Family and friends may also attend her funeral service at 10:30am on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at St. John Lutheran Church, 1802 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422, with burial following in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the church at the address above, or to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
