Jerome S. Entenman, Sr. “Jerry”, 89, of Skippack passed away Monday, April 8, 2019, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Carolyn Elaine (Fielitz) Entenman, who passed away in 2004.
Born December 31, 1929, in Norristown he was a son of the late John J. and Marie (Brooks) Entenman.
Mr. Entenman served as a Sergeant in the United States Army, during the Korean War. Jerry was a lifetime member at the V.F.W. 7155 and 32nd Degree Mason at the Warren Lodge, Collegeville. He was an electrical and appliance repairman for his uncle at Brooks Appliance and a maintenance man at Collegeville Flag. After retirement, he worked at Marco Motors. During his youth he sang in the choir at St. John’s Church in Norristown, was a volunteer fireman in Norristown, and a member of the Fairview Farmers Union.
Jerry loved having parties at the pool he built, camping with family and friends, and card night with all the guys. His laugh, gentle soul, and loving heart brightened every room.
He is survived by his children Jerome S. “Skip” Entenman, Jr., of Skippack, John J. Entenman of Eagleville, Brian E. and his wife, Ellen, of Skippack, Theodore “Ted” and Vicki Allen of Worcester, 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He will always be Uncle Romey to many.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his brother William Entenman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike. Limerick, PA.
