Tuesday, April 2, 2019I knew Jack for the last 8 years, through his long-time relationship with Laura Arters, my boyfriend Scott's sister. We always had a fun time, at family parties or gatherings, playing Bingo at Laura's house in Honeybrook, during the holidays or just because it was sunny and warm. I greeted him by saying hello and kissing him on the top of his head, and have missed him & his bright blue eyes, jokes, laugh and smile and have good memories of the fun we all had. He always amazed me, everything he did despite his disability, he never lever let it slow him down. I am heartbroken that he passed..my condolences & prayers to all.

Friday, March 29, 2019Jack, my first born son. I've known you longer then any human being on this earth. I was there for your birth 61 years ago on November 30, 1957 but unfortunately I was not there at the time of your death. I will keep our last conversation in my heart and will remember your voice as long as my memory is with me. They say children should not die before a parent. Yet reality is that it did happen with us. Reality is I can not longer give you a kiss or listen to your "Archie Bunker" stories. We never knew if you were serious or not. While loosing you is the saddest thing I've experienced, I still have a smile on my face thinking of you. I'm sure there will be many "Jack Daniel" stories to keep us laughing. Last night as we sat at the kitchen table at "5940" we all talked about feeling that you would at any moment wheel yourself in (pushing with your one foot) into the kitchen and of course you would have something witty to say and we would not know if you were serious or not. On Monday your physical body will mer buried (as you would want with a traditional burial) but your spirit will live with each of us that knew and loved you.....and of course through Sarah and Laura and while Sophia is only three years old, she will know that you existed cause we'll keep you alive with pictures and stories that she will most likely tell cause you are her special "Pop Pop".
