Obituary of David Russell Hagner, Sr.

David Russell Hagner Sr.,78, of Audubon, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Phoenixville Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Miller) Hagner to whom he was married for over 60 years.

 

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, David Russell Hagner, Jr. (Janet), of Audubon, and Stephanie Carol Patterson (Jeffrey) of Audubon; his son in law Francis Thomas Himsworth, Jr.; his brother Kenneth George Hagner; and five grandchildren Tamara Lynn Himsworth, Francis Thomas Himsworth, III, Morgan Margaret Hagner, Dustin Evan Himsworth, and David “Trip” Russell Hagner, III.

 

Mr. Hagner was predeceased by his daughter, Cheryl Lynn Himsworth in 2009.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. Skippack Pike at Cedars Rd. Skippack. Friends are invited to his viewing on Monday evening from 6-8 PM, and again on Tuesday, from 9:30-10:30 AM. A Masonic service will be held on Monday,  at 7:45 PM. Burial will follow the funeral service at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Susan G. Komen Society at ww5.Komen.org.
