Charles B. Williams, Jr., 74, passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2019, at his home in Harleysville, PA. He and his wife, Carmella (Angelo) Williams, were married in 1995.
Born April 28, 1944, in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Charles B. Williams, Sr. and Vilma McLaughlin. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and was a United States Army veteran.
Mr. Williams was a graduate of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy in Hershey, PA. He served as a state trooper from 1968-1993 through the Pennsylvania State Police Barracks in Limerick, PA. He was a member of VFW Post No. 7155 in Trappe, PA, and was an avid bowler and golfer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Mark Williams and his wife, Ginny, of Sinking Spring, PA; and two step-daughters, Lisa Brillhart and her husband, Stephen, of Lancaster, PA, and Denise Stagliano and her husband, Brian, of Eagleville, PA; and eight grandchildren, Caitlin, Rebecca, Adam, Brock, Paige, Melanie, Brian Jr., and Reese.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his prayer service at 3PM on Friday, January 18, 2018, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA. Interment will be private.
