Margaret “Peg” Oswald, 61, of Harleysville, PA, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 surrounded by family. She and her beloved husband, Robert W. Oswald, would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 30th of this year.
Born December 30, 1957, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Bradley) Flenders. She was a 1975 graduate of North Penn High School.
Peg was employed as a pharmacy technician for over 18 years at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Harleysville, PA. She enjoyed volunteering at Lower Salford Elementary School while her children were students and attending her children’s activities and sporting events. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandsons.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert J. Oswald and his wife, Erica, of Skippack, PA; a daughter, Janel M. Beeman and her husband, Matt, of Quakertown, PA; and two grandsons, Cole and Connor Oswald. She is also survived by five siblings, Joseph Flenders and his wife, Dee, of Souderton, PA, Donna Stine of Pottsville, PA, John Flenders of West Point, PA, and Paul Flenders of West Point, PA, and Carol Strouse and her husband, Gary, of Barto, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 12PM on Friday, January 18, 2019, at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10AM. Interment will be private.
