Stephanie J. (Alabrudzinski) Wondolowski, 97, of Harleysville, PA, formerly of Cheltenham, PA, passed away September 30, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wondolowski, on July 9th of this year.
Born September 17, 1921, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Kedziora) Alabrudzinski. She was a graduate of Frankford High School. During World War II, she worked at the Frankford Arsenal.
Mrs. Wondolowski was employed by Sears & Roebuck and then Strawbridge & Clothier in the credit department. Her husband gave her the nickname of Dick Tracy for her ability to ferret out cases of fraud. She was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church of Schwenksville. She was devoted to her family and friends. She dearly loved her daughters, was loved by them, and was adored by all of her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Christine Snyder and her husband, Dr. Terrence, and Carol Mackin and her husband, Thomas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Nicole Mackin Wilt, Esq. and her husband, Nicholas, Jessica Castelli O’Connell and her husband, Craig, Benjamin Castelli and his wife, Amanda, Christopher Mackin and his wife, Christine, and Michael Mackin and his wife, Michele; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private for the family with interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the donor’s choice. Arrangements are by the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home Inc., of Skippack, PA.
