Obituary of Frank Wondolowski

Frank Wondolowski, 95, a resident of Harleysville, PA for the last 27 years, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at his residence. He had formerly lived in Cheltenham, PA. He and his wife, Stephanie Wondolowski, would have observed their 72nd wedding anniversary on September 21 of this year.

 

Born December 23, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Konstantine and Lillian Wondolowski. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, received an associate degree from Temple University and was employed with the Scriptomatic Corporation in Philadelphia for over 50 years, serving and retiring as Production Manager. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

 

He will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind and generous man, devoted husband,  loving father and most importantly, the fun and adventurous Pop Pop.

 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Christine Snyder and her husband, Dr. Terrence, and Carol Mackin and her husband, Thomas; five grandchildren, Nicole Mackin Wilt, Jessica Castelli O’Connell, Benjamin Castelli, Christopher Mackin, and Michael Mackin; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Miksis, Hedi Homan, Sophia Szymanski and Stella Nodjack.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at 11AM on August 18, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA, where family will receive friends beginning at 10AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are by the R. L.
