Thomas Chandler Crawford, 58, formerly of Lafayette Hill, PA, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2018, in St. Petersburg, FL.
Born on April 21, 1960, Tom was the son of the late Patricia (Lynch) and Chandler Crawford. He attended Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School and graduated from Cornell University School of Engineering.
Tom was a pioneer in the software development industry and as a young entrepreneur, he established Synegration, Inc. in 1997. Tom moved to St. Petersburg, FL 6 years ago to pursue his love of boating with his longtime partner Linda Sheronas. Their passion for sailing led them to buy “Grace”, a 53’ sailboat, which they cruised from Maine to Florida. Tom’s other passion was the Philadelphia Eagles and he was overjoyed to watch them win Super Bowl LII.
He is survived by his children, Charles Crawford and his wife, Pâmela, Sarah Crawford and her partner Jeff Greiner; his longtime partner Linda Sheronas; his sisters Bev Crawford and her partner, Judy Reynolds, Tracy Capizzi and her husband, Michael; his first wife Jennifer Crawford, and many nephews, who adored his fun-loving spirit. His extended family includes Evan Sheronas (Crystal), Erik Sheronas, and Katarina Sheronas.
His memorial service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Wentz United Church of Christ, 3426 Skippack Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446. Friends may call from 9:30-11:00 and the service will begin at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA at https://www.pspca.org.
A second memorial service will be held for Tom at his favorite place, Fish Tales (1500 2nd St. South,
