Floyd Kenneth Brenninger, 88, of Harleysville, PA, formerly of Hatfield, PA, passed away April 25, 2018 at Peter Becker Community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Allebach) Brenninger, in 2015.
Born December 7, 1929 in Lansdale, PA, he was the son of the late Floyd K. and Ella (Kriebel) Brenninger. He was a 1947 graduate of Lansdale High School and served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Mr. Brenninger was the owner of the former Brenninger Motors, Inc. of Lansdale. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Indian Valley Country Club and Pottsville Club and enjoyed wintering in Florida. He also enjoyed spending time with his family at their house on the lake at Lake Winona in the Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth S. Brenninger and his wife, Emily, of Souderton, PA and Barry Brenninger and his wife, Kelly, of Harleysville; two daughters, Lori Brenninger and her partner, Richard McDonald, of Collegeville, PA, and Donna Brenninger and her partner, Khary Flamer, of North Wales, PA. He is also survived by a sister, Kathryn Zeigler of Lansdale; five grandchildren, Kenneth E. Brenninger, Lisa Bishop and her husband, Aaron, Amy Gillen and her husband Jared, Jaclyn Geiger, and Dan Geiger; and four great grandchildren, Norah Bishop, Ian Bishop, Ben Bishop and Logan Lynch.
Services were held privately with burial at Garden of Memories in Worcester, PA.
