Friday, January 5, 2018I am sorry I can not make the service. Paul was a great man who believed in me from the moment I entered his classroom. He had me work hard and showed me I can persevere through anything. Every month he made sure to catch up with me on how I'm doing. He inspired me to follow in his footsteps and now I am trying for the same instructor position with hopes I can touch as many lives as he did.

Friday, January 5, 2018I had Paul as an Instructor at the Carpenters JAC, then as a neighbor and finally as a co-worker. One of the nicest guys ever. Me and Sue were just talking to Paul on our porch in October. So glad we were able to hang out that day. God bless you Paul, I know you'll be showing the Big Guy up there a thing or two on the lathe!!!

Tuesday, January 2, 2018Paul was a very generous person and will be greatly missed . He certainly did a lot for me when I was young . Back when I was in high school he gave me a job helping him build Diane and his house . When I decided to go for a carpentry career he tutored me for the apprentice qualification exam . After I got in the program he gave me rides down to the apprentice school . He was also one of my instructors there . He used to like to plow snow with his truck . He would plow my parents driveway and my driveway and never accept money . He was very proud of his daughters , Gwen and Jill , he talked about them all the time . More recently he enjoyed driving the school bus and helping the kids . He always had a little story about the bus when I ran into him . Rest in peace Paul . Tim Hummell

Tuesday, January 2, 2018While working at STA, I became a friend of Paul's. Then I became aware of his awesome pens and crafts he was so proud of. Four months ago I lost my soulmate of 47 years suddenly and never a day went by that Paul did not drive his bus to my bus, open the door and ask how my day was going. We would talk but he never talked of how he might have been in pain or having difficulties because that's how Paul was - so caring. I spoke to him right before he passed and prayed he would make it. He is now with God and at peace. You will be so missed Paul.

Monday, January 1, 2018Graduated with Paul. He was a friend and like so many, we ended up serving our country. Our paths parted early after graduation, but somehow we're all linked to the number '63. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Monday, January 1, 2018On behalf of the class of 1966, Collegeville-Trappe HS and as the brother of one of Paul's Classmates (Hugh Brown), our sincerest condolences to you and the family. CTHS was a close-knit school, and members of the classes of '63 and '66 were just that. Our prayers are with you today and forever.
