Obituary of Emily Jane Heiland

Emily Jane (Wolff) Heiland, 97, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell where she had been a resident for the past 20 years.  She had formerly lived in Levittown and was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice L. Heiland, in 1995.


Mrs. Heiland was born April 7, 1920 in Philadelphia. The majority of her life was spent as a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and the many pets that shared her life over the years.


Surviving is a son, Al and his wife, Sandy; a daughter, Donna and her husband, Tom; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered as “Aunt Jane” by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Heiland was the oldest of 13 siblings and is survived by three sisters, Bertha, Florence and Ginny; and a  brother, Teddy.


In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by eight siblings.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend her service in the mausoleum chapel at 11AM on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Wentz’s U.C.C. Church, 3246 Skippack Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446, or to Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074. Arrangements are by the R. L.
