Christine (Haun) Bray, 81, of Royersford, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Royersford. She was the wife of the late Sammy Bray.
Born March 14, 1940, in Knoxville, TN, she was a daughter of the late James and Anna Mae (Galloway) Haun.
Affectionately known by many as Chris, she enjoyed spending time with her family, both here and in Tennessee. There were many holidays and summers where she traveled from PA to TN with Eddie, Mindy Sue, and Janet. She loved her cat, word searches, sewing, and gardening; watching older TV shows and Jimmy Swaggart, and listening to Oldies country music.
Chris dedicated 40 plus years of service working for John Middleton Cigar Factory. The factory was originally located in King of Prussia where she and Sammy worked. He would be the first to retire and she would later be transferred to their Limerick location. In 2009, she would retire. She loved attending their “20-year club” dinners, especially the dancing, entertainment, and co-workers' comradery.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Melinda Stinson; great-granddaughter, Braylynn Stinson; her daughter-in-law, Janet Haun; her brother, Harvey Haun; her sister, Cathy Hurst, and many nieces and nephews in Tennessee.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Edward Haun; brothers, Ralph, James, Dave, and Tom; and sisters, Stella Madron, Dora Key, and Carolyn Brown.
