Pauline A. Lytle

Pauline A. “Polly” Lytle, 93, formerly of Cincinnati, OH and St. Petersburg, FL, passed away Wednesday morning, September 29, 2021, at Meadowood Senior Living in Worcester, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary G. Lytle, on March 29, 2013.


Born November 19, 1927, in Woodstock, IL, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Wickman) Hutchinson. She was a graduate of Worthington High School and attended Ohio State University.


Mrs. Lytle was a member of Central Schwenkfelder Church in Lansdale, PA. She loved the ocean and was a “Salty Sister”, a group of friends at St. Petersburg Yacht Club. A lover of music, Mrs. Lytle was a classically trained pianist. She was devoted to her family and was a loyal fan of Ohio State Football.


Surviving are four daughters, Lynn Downing and her husband, Rob, of Chevy Chase, MD, Theresa Pierce and her husband, Tim, of Paris, KY, Elise “Lisa” Lamarra and her husband, Michael, of Harleysville, PA, and Ruth Lytle-Barnaby and her husband, Jim, of Wilmington, DE. She is also survived by a sister, Judy Ridenour and her husband, John, of Cary, NC; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.           


Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 11am on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA, where friends may call beginning at 10am. The family respectfully requests that all in attendnace wear a mask. Interment will be private at Arlington National Cemetery alongside her husband.
