George E. White, IV

George E. White, IV, 41, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was the husband of Sara (Schuler) White.

Born July 14, 1980, in Abington, PA, he was a son of Dr. George E. White, III, and Holly (Swannie) White. George was a graduate of Northampton County Community College earning his degree in Mortuary Science.

George had been working as a painting and tile contractor with his father's property management company. George was proud to have earned his Eagle Scout award and was a member of the first Varsity team of the Boy Scouts with the Valley Forge Council. He also was proud of earning his 1st-degree black belt in Kenpo Karate from Amerikick Kenpo school in Lansdale, PA. He spent his lifetime working with Kenpo and other martial arts along with personal training. He was very proud of helping to train his two sons who are currently training and are close to earning their junior black belts. He participated in the Royal Rangers with his boys and was happy to see them enjoy all of the activities. Most recently, both boys won awards in the pinewood derby races. He enjoyed gardening, bicycling, and listening to Christian music in his spare time. George enjoyed bird watching and seeing how they moved and their flight. He enjoyed all kinds of fishing and was particularly proud of catching multiple yellowfin tuna and one large mako shark weighing over 200 pounds. George and his family have been long-term members of Family Worship Center in Towamencin Twp, Lansdale, PA.

George’s statement every day was how much he loved his sons and having them be the center of his life. Although he wasn’t with them every day, he asked about them, talked about them, and looked forward to seeing them every day. He was proud of them and wanted the best for them.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, George E. White, V, and Noah James White; his siblings, Major David White and his wife, Allison, of Vincenza, Italy, Ashley Ushler and her husband, Matthew, of Pennsburg, PA,  and Julianna Douglas and her husband, Gregory, of Gilbertsville, PA; and a niece and six nephews.
