Mary Louise (Hild) Graham, 96, a resident of Worcester Township, PA since 1925, passed away on Saturday afternoon, September 4, 2021, at her daughter’s home on the family homestead. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. “Jack” Graham, III, on February 12, 2003.
Born May 11, 1925, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Hannah Viola (Seipt) Hild. She was a 1943 graduate of Lansdale High School.
Mrs. Graham was an active member of Central Schwenkfelder Church for many years. She was well-known for her gardening, especially pumpkins and strawberries. She spent many hours canning and freezing her garden produce and was meticulous about her chores. She enjoyed quilting and was an excellent seamstress. Above all, she was deeply devoted to her family. She loved each member of her family dearly and would do anything to help and support them.
Her family includes three sons, the late John H. Graham, IV and his wife, Eileen Vahle Graham, and their two children, John H. Graham V (Garrett Hatch-Graham) and Kelly Campbell (Grant Campbell); the late infant Lawrence Hild Graham; and Dr. Thomas H. Graham and his wife, Susan Houpt Graham, and their four children, Lauren Angeles (John Angeles), the late infant Ryan Thomas Graham, Dr. Nathaniel Graham (Daphne Churchill) and Jeremy Graham; and two daughters, Sally L. Graham House and her husband, Donald House, and their two daughters, the late Melissa Waninger (Kurt Waninger) and Marcella Sweigart (Jason Sweigart); and Nancy S. Graham Bickel and her husband, the late Phillip Bickel, Sr., and their five children, Phillip Bickel, Jr. (Paige Feeser), Jennifer Bickel-Hayes (Matthew Hayes), John Bickel (Brittany Jackson Bickel), Graham Bickel and Jeffrey Bickel. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11am on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446, where friends may call for her viewing from 9-10:45am. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the music fund of the church at the address above. Arrangements are by the R. L.
