Iolanda DiPilla

Iolanda M. DiPilla, 79, of Schwenksville, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Aristacare at Meadow Springs. She was the long-time companion of George Fine.

Born August 2, 1941, in Chiauci, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Ermino and Elena (Iacobucci) DiPilla.

Mrs. DiPilla was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Schwenksville. Iolanda was a beautiful and strong woman with a heart of gold. She was born in Italy and immigrated to America as a teenager to start her life in an unfamiliar country. Iolanda chased her dreams and she became a very successful hairdresser. Over the years, her clients became her family, talking, laughing, and drinking espresso for hours.

Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. She has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be supremely missed.

The family was the pivotal essence of Iolandas’ life. She was a dedicated mother/grandmother, first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. All will miss her cheerful attitude and bright smile. Her life was well lived, and she was well-loved.

Iolanda will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile, great personality, caring heart, loving embrace, and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and find comfort knowing that she is in heaven watching over us.

Ti ameremo per sempre!

She is survived by her daughter, Elena; and her grandchildren, Allesandro, Claudia, Adam, and Samantha.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Anna Marie; and her siblings, Onrino, Michael, and Antonio.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 11 AM on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Rd. Schwenksville, PA 19473, where friends may call for the viewing from 10-10:45 AM. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at
