Zofia Sadowska, 100, passed away Thursday morning, October 3, 2019. She was the wife of the late Adam Sadowski who passed away in 1991. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michal Trzpis.
Born April 20, 1919, in Zary, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Tomasz and Magdalena (Pawlowska) Kudla. She was the sole survivor of her fourteen siblings.
Mrs. Sadowska was a former restaurant owner, member of Leviton Electrical Union and active member of the Polish Slavic Center in Greenpoint NY. She was a voracious reader and believed if you loved to read you would never be lonely. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, the more the merrier, where she would often bring laughter with one of her many jokes.
Mrs. Sadowska is survived by her blended family of eight children and their spouses: Michalina Ramirez, Teresa and Romano Bradica, Andrzej and Alicja Sadowski, Adam and Zofia Sadowski, Alicja and John Czaplinski, Alfons Ignacy and Wiesia Sadowski, Antoni and Malgorzata Sadowski, Elizabeth and Teddy Czyz.
Twenty-two grandchildren and their spouses: Sonia and Richard Cavalli, Richard and Joanne Ramirez, Gino and Katy Bradica, Tony and Jessica Bradica, Adam and Agnieszka Sadowski, Radek and Paulina Sadowski, Renata and Krzysztof Prystupa, Anna and Adam Kierzkowska, Rafal and Agnieszka Sadowski, Wojtek and Iwona Sadowski, Marcin and Angelika Sadowski, Amelka and Jacek Fic, Emilka Sadowski, Anna and Michal Mirek, John and Magda Czaplinski, Sister Ishah Ahot of Jesus, Christopher Sadowski, Adam Sadowski, Natalie Sadowski, Maciej Sadowski, Yvonne and Alain LeBlanc, Stanley and Meaghan Czyz.
Thirty-seven great grandchildren: Nicholas, Zofia, Alexa, Dimitri, Anastasia, Logan, Katelyn, Leo, William, Lucas, Thomas, Joseph, Filip, Olivia, Sofia, Michal, Karol, Julian, Maria, Helena, Stanislaw, Adam, Tobiasz, Aleksandra, Jakub, Ania, Marysia, Pawel, Sebastian, Isabella, Gabriel, Nicholas, Jakub, Michal, Alexander, Charles, and Addison.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 10:00am until 11:30am on Friday, October 11, 2019, at R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 3440 Skippack Pike at Cedars Road, Skippack, PA. The funeral mass will begin at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery Chapel, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA.
