Patricia (Lynch) Crawford, 78, of Worcester, formerly of Lafayette Hill, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Meadowood at Worcester. She was the beloved wife of Chandler H. Crawford to whom she was married to for over 58 years.

Born May 23, 1934 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Steverding) Lynch.

Mrs. Crawford was a member of the General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC) Pennsylvania where she served as President from 2002-2004. She also served GFWC as Home Life Chairman after serving as President. Mrs. Crawford was very active with Whitemarsh Township during the restoration of Cedar Grove Barn, and also served on the committee for restoring Farmar’s Mill in Flourtown. Mrs. Crawford also served as a member of Herb Gatherers, Norristown Garden Club, and Poor Richard Chapter of Questers and GFWC Liberty Trail. After moving to Meadowood she served on the Marketing Committee and also served on Meadowood’s Fall Festival committee. She was an avid gardener and reader.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Beverly Crawford and her partner Judy Reynolds of Allentown, NJ., Thomas Crawford of St. Petersburg, FL., Tracy Capizzi and her husband Michael of Audubon; her brothers, Robert Lynch, and Richard Lynch; and her five grandchildren, Charles Crawford, Andrew Capizzi, Stephen Capizzi, Sarah Crawford, and Kevin Capizzi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 11AM on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Central Schwenkfelder Church; 2111 Valley Forge Rd. Lansdale, PA 19446, where friends may greet the family from 9:30-10:45. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Meadowood Benevolent Fund, 3205 Skippack Pike, Box 670 Worcester, PA 19490, or to the charity of ones choice.
