Obituary of Ronald Keir

Ronald Allan Keir, 43, formerly of Rome, NY, passed away August 15, 2017, in Dallas, TX.

Born September 8, 1973, in Sakon Nakorn, Thailand, he was the son of David and Duangdao “Toi” Keir. Ron was a graduate of Rome Free Academy class of 1991 and was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University class of 1996.

Ron worked in the broadcast communications field working for numerous companies to include Total RF, CP, and Last Ver Video equipment rental in Dallas TX. With his work, he traveled continuously throughout the United States and the world working major sporting events which included the Olympics, professional golf tours, and many entertainment venues. Ron enjoyed snowboarding, golf, woodworking and playing his guitar. Ron was never without his Legos. His Lego men were always with him at his different work venues.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Thailand; his Aunt Lynn and Uncle Carl Espenship of Phoenix, AZ., his Aunt Debbie and Uncle Ritchie Keir of Quakertown; and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery, 3768 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, PA 19426. Please park in the church parking lot.
