Obituary of Ronald Adams, Jr.

Ronald E. “Buck” Adams, Jr., 70, of Wind Gap passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Carol Lynn (Vanaman) Adams for over 52 years.

Born April 27, 1947, in Galloway, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Ronald E. Adams, Sr., and Mable (Helmick) Adams.

Pop, as he was so fondly called by many later in life, was married to the love of his life for 52 years. He loved being around his family whether it was just kicked back watching a NASCAR race on Sunday or having cookouts and pitching shoes or of course razzing the people playing. In his younger years, he enjoyed shooting pool and was on a pool league, he loved to go fishing with his sons, loved going to the stock car races but most of all he loved going home to West Virginia for a visit.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Connie Hearn and her husband, Tim, of Harleysville, Ronald E. Adams, III, and his wife, Bethann of Wind Gap; his daughter in law Kristine Adams of St. Peters; his siblings, Judith Jolly, Mary Biddle and Daniel Adams; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Jessie J. Adams.
